Transport Options
1. Myexoticcats.com offers coast to coast kitten transport through Houndhaulers.com, a network of USDA LICENSED AND INSURED pet transportation professionals. We have been using Hound Haulers with 100% success since 2019. Hound Haulers offers door to door ground transport.
2. We do not recommend air travel for land animals, but due to long distances and time constraints it is sometimes a choice families make. In these instances, our recommendation is that you fly into John Glenn, Columbus International Airport (CMH) and fly back with your new kitten in-cabin with you. You will need to reach out to each individual airline for their rules and requirements for travel. We are happy to meet you outside of baggage claim or ticketing depending on your flight arrangements.
Myexoticcats.com guarantees our kittens' health during transport as long as you are using our transport company. If you decide to use an alternate transport or send family, a friend or assistant to pick up your kitten on your behalf, we do not replace your kitten or pay veterinary bills for any injuries, or losses including loss of life during transport. We have no way of knowing if your transport is safe or of the events that transpire after the kitten leaves our hands.
Any ground or air travel requires a health certificate from our veterinarian which requires an extra visit to the veterinarian. There is a charge of an additional $150 for the office visit and health certificate. This is a quoted price and is subject to change as veterinarians change their fee schedule. WE DO NOT SHIP OUR KITTENS CARGO! PLEASE DO NOT ASK.
3. We will meet you with your kitten locally for free (within 30 minutes of our location). We will meet you with your kitten up to 3 hours travel time (from Sunbury, Ohio) approximately 180 miles away from our location, for a charge of $1 per mile. Miles are counted round trip. Example: If we are meeting 60 miles away from our location, the charge will be $120 due to round-trip miles being 120.
